Per-seat pricing quietly changes how a team works. Someone has to decide whether the new designer, the bookkeeper, or the contractor for six weeks is worth another line on the invoice — and the usual answer is to share a login or leave them out. Taskiim is sold per workspace, so that decision never comes up.

The part that is not about money
A per-seat tool makes access a budget decision, and budget decisions get made by leaving people out. The bookkeeper who cannot see the project has to be emailed a screenshot; the contractor works from a shared login nobody can attribute afterwards. Both are worse than the seat would have cost — and the second one quietly ruins the audit trail you were paying for.
What we do sell
Capacity and retention: how many people and projects a workspace holds, how much file storage it has, and how far back the audit log stays readable. Workspace isolation, upload scanning, signed file links and the existence of the audit log are on every plan including Free — gating any of those would make the cheap tier the unsafe one.
Questions people actually ask
- Is Taskiim really not per user?
- No seat maths. The Team plan is $19 a month for the whole workspace up to 10 people, and Company is $49 for up to 30.
- What happens when we outgrow a plan?
- You move up a plan. Nothing is deleted when you reach a ceiling — limits are checked before a row is created, never after, so a workspace at its limit is frozen rather than emptied.
- Do you charge for guests or read-only people?
- Everyone in the workspace counts towards the member ceiling, and nothing is charged per head. There is no cheaper tier of person to reason about.
