A Guest Viewer reads the project. A Guest Collaborator can work with tasks, comments and files. Broader access requires an explicit promotion to member.

Clients and contractors use their own accounts, so comments, task changes and file activity do not disappear behind a shared login.

Questions teams ask before changing their process
- Can a project guest see other projects?
- No. Guest access is narrowed server-side to the projects the person was invited to.
- Can a client edit tasks?
- Only when invited as Guest Collaborator. Guest Viewer is read-only.
- Can a guest upload files?
- A Guest Collaborator can upload project files; a Guest Viewer cannot change the project.
- Does a guest consume a normal member place?
- Project guests have their own plan capacity, separate from the workspace member ceiling.
